Election Day – PRAY

I AM NOW AND FOREVER PRO LIFE

With everything going on in America right now, my heart is heavy. The votes at this moment seem to say that Biden is going to be the future President of The United States. I am a little sick to the stomach at the thought of that honestly. Not simply because of Biden as a person, but because of most of what he stands in support of and the fact that he has “put his foot in his mouth” countless times throughout the interviews and speeches.

He made one particular thing he stands for made known with his statement earlier in this election race:

He said, “Reproductive rights are a constitutional right. And, in fact, every woman should have that right.”

Every Woman DOES have that right.

The right to say NO, the right to turn from sin and NOT engage in sex outside of marriage.

And, if the worst thing imaginable happens to a woman and she survives with a baby from it, then that baby is a BLESSING and that woman should turn to GOD who has everything she will ever need to care for the child.

There are nasty things in this world. Being BLESSED with children is never ever a nasty thing. Killing an unborn, yet living and breathing child, IS MURDER, i.e. a nasty thing. And if you don’t like that, then that is YOU’RE conviction.

The main issue on many American’s minds is that of the stance these two candidates take on Pro Life vs Murder. (There’s a reason it’s called pro LIFE, just saying.)

Roe Vs Wade is the landmark Supreme Court ruling from 1973 which made abortions legal on the national level. This made it possible for women to kill there babies up to the third trimester, 28 weeks into pregnancy! I mean come on women, this is just sick. No matter how it happened, ALL CHILDREN ARE A GIFT FROM GOD, treat your baby as such! Your baby has a soul, a heart beat, and a mind that is already beginning to recognize your voice! How in the actual heck are you willing to kill your child?! Oh this gets my blood boiling.

President Trump promised in 2016 to pick judges who would “automatically” overturn Roe vs Wade, or even better, do away with it for good. Making it near impossible to murder babies, I mean… get an abortion. While this hasn’t fully happened yet, he has made progress and if the president were to win re-election, he could re-shape the judiciary even more so than what he has accomplished since his election in 2016.

We are ALL sinners, I am no different. There are numerous things we do every single day as sinful human beings that we most likely do without thinking about it. Ever spill coffee and mean to say “shoot” but a different, 4 letter, word comes flying out?? Ever speed because you’re running late, ever disobey your parents, ever tell a lie?

Yea, abortions are not like stubbing your toe and having a bad word fly out.

Abortions come about by taking steps. Planned out steps. Preparation and thought goes into this kind of thing.

  1. Doing the deed, often outside of marriage.
  2. Realizing that you’re pregnant and instead of embracing it, you start planning the funeral.
  3. You call and schedule the appointment(s).
  4. You think about future possibilities, often bad ones with no joy or family.
  5. You drive to the OBGYN office, park your car, walk into the doctor’s office, then you sit there and wait for them to call your name.
  6. You feel the guilt and shock when the doctor comes in and asks “So, what are we here for today?” Like he/she wants to hear you say it out loud. “I’m here to kill my baby.” Can you really say those words?
  7. Laying there on the table as the suction device or tong type things are prepped to pull your baby out bit by bit. Or maybe they give you a pill to take home and they tell you, “It’ll all be better in the morning.” Really, better… in which case there are a few more steps to actually get to the killing of the baby stage once you get home.

To-Do List

1. Fold the laundry.

2. Make/Eat dinner.

3. Kill my baby.

REALLY…

There are so so so many steps at which a woman has the chance to change her mind and choose LIFE.

I implore you ladies, no matter what your previous relationship with God may be, CHOOSE LIFE! It’s not only biblical, but it’s basic human decency.

READ YOUR BIBLE.

It IS in fact biblical. Once a baby is concieved and especially once the baby’s heart starts beating, around 4-5 weeks (which is sooner than most women even realize they’re pregnant) it IS a little LIFE. Killing your baby IS murder, Murder IS one of the 10 Commandents where we are specifically told to NOT do it!!

Read Your Bible. There are promises, true and good promises and if you believe them, if you turn from your sin and follow God, then no matter your past, you will be BLESSED.

There are millions of women out there who WISH and PRAY to be pregnant and some never have it happen for them. How could you possibly justify it to yourself, let alone these women who wish for nothing more than to be blessed with a pregnancy? The murdering of your own blessing from God, I will never understand.

And to you who may have had an abortion in the past before you truly knew better, God sees you too. If you repent, invite Jesus into your life as your savior, then you will BE FORGIVEN, you will be BLESSED, and you will be able to let go of the guilt.

Brian Frost with Providence Baptist Church wrote this, “When we run to God in faith, He not only delivers us from guilt, He also rebuilds our lives. It is easy to think that somehow, because of our decisions we have completely undone God’s plan for our lives. When you feel this way, consider the promise God gave to us through his prophet Joel. After describing how sin had devoured everything like a plague of locusts, God says, “ I will restore to you the years the locusts have eaten” (Joel 2:25) This means that God travels the righteous paths that we did not take and gathers up the blessings that we missed. Then, when we confess our sin, He restores those blessings to us, either on earth or in Heaven!”

Whew, blessings and peace to you all on this historic day. Please remember that no matter who wins, your peace and your salvation is through Christ our savior. Never forget WHOSE you are. You are a child of The King.

Praying for you,

Vicki
